The Iowa Army of Pink

is a non-profit whose mission is to educate and advocate for women to know and understand their breast density in order to save lives. It is an all volunteer organization and most of those involved are breast cancer survivors whose diagnoses were delayed due to breast density and its masking effect on mammograms. We work to help women understand the breast density information that is now included in their mammogram letters. They are able to lead lunch & learns at companies or they speak to groups of all sizes including church groups, service organizations or just groups of family & friends. Thanks for the opportunity to be here with you all spreading the word to “Read Your Whole Mammogram Letter!“
